Your Howrse profile page already has some simple icons that you can use to make your layout. When you click on modify the icons will appear.
The first icons are for your text
 |
B - makes the font bold |
 |
i - makes the font into italics |
 |
U - to underline the font |
 |
S - to make the font crossed through |
 |
change the font color |
 |
change the colour of the line |
All you need to do is write the text that you want, then you can change the format by highlighting the text and then clicking on the icon you want to use. Here are some examples using the different icons.
The next icon is to put in a link 
put in your text, highlight the text and then click on the link icon. This will open a new window where you type in the address of the page you want to go to.
Copy and paste the address of the page you want the link to go to and then click on OK
Howrse rules states that you are only allowed to link to pages within the Howrse game - no external links are permitted.
It is also possible to highlight an image you have and create a link from an image rather than from text.
The next icon is to insert an image 
when you click on this icon a popup will open
you can type in the address where your image is hosted on the internet, for sites like photobucket you will need to use the direct link with the format http://photobucket.image.gif and then press OK
The remaining icons are quite easy to use.
